Lifeline Assistance and Link-Up Missouri Programs

Two programs are authorized by the Federal Communications Commission to promote universal telephone service. These plans are Lifeline Assistance and Link-Up Missouri and are available if you participate in one of the following programs:

Medicaid,
Food Stamps,
Supplemental Security Income (SSI),
Low Income Home Energy Assistance (LIHEAP),
Federal Public Housing Assistance,
National School Lunch Program,
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families,
Veterans Administration Benefits,
State Blind Pension,
State Aid to Blind Persons,
State Supplemental Disability Assistance Payments Administered by the Family Support Division,
Federal Social Security Disability or
Federal Supplemental Security Income.

Lifeline Assistance is a program that provides a credit towards the recurring monthly charges made with your local residential service and Link-Up Missouri helps reduce the hook-up charge on new service orders. To apply for either of these services you must provide a current program participation card and complete the appropriate forms in our office. Contact customer service with any questions.
